Why I Started Utah Tree and Stump Removal
I'm Garrett Lamb. I'm a husband and dad here in the south end of the Salt Lake Valley, and I started this business the simple way: I bought a stump grinder and started taking care of stumps for homeowners around Draper, Sandy and West Jordan.
What I kept hearing from customers was the same thing. They'd called other tree companies and waited a week for someone to come look, then got a vague hourly price. So I built the business around the opposite: text me a photo, get a firm price back within a couple of hours, and get on the schedule that week.
Today Utah Tree and Stump Removal handles stump grinding, full tree removal, tree trimming and pruning, and tree-and-stump combo jobs across Salt Lake, Utah and Davis counties. When you call or text, you're talking to the owner — not a call center.

Send a picture of your tree or stump (a shoe or tape measure in the shot helps) and get a firm, upfront price, usually within a couple of hours. No hourly surprises.
811 / Blue Stakes on Every Grind
Utah law requires a utility locate before stump grinding. We schedule Blue Stakes for you at no cost and wait the required time, protecting your gas, water, power and fiber lines.
We Protect Your Lawn and Sprinklers
We lay mats on the drive path, mark sprinkler heads before the grinder rolls in, and use a tracked grinder that fits through 36-inch gates.
Clean Job Sites
Chips hauled away or left as mulch (your choice), the area raked and blown clean before we leave.
